Limits & supported formats

Input: 1 file · PNG, JPEG, WebP (static) · up to 20 MiB.

Static images: up to 2,048 px per side. Animated inputs are not supported here.

Output: up to 2,048 px per side, 4,194,304 pixels per frame and 400 frames.

Detailed budgets: 40,000,000 decoded pixels, an estimated 192 MiB working allocation and 64 MiB per ZIP. These estimates help reject large jobs; they do not guarantee a browser process memory peak.

Sprite Sheet to GIF

Enter cell width, cell height, gap and frame count. Cells are read left to right, then top to bottom. Set a delay and loop count for playback.

Choosing your settings

Only uniform grids are supported; irregular packed atlases need to be rearranged first. GIF uses a reduced palette and binary transparency.

If the result needs another pass

A wrong cell size cuts through sprites. Check the grid dimensions and exclude unused final cells with the frame count.
