GIF · up to 20 MiB per file

Limits & supported formats

Input: 1 file · GIF · up to 20 MiB.

Images: up to 2,048 px per side and 400 animation frames.

Output: up to 2,048 px per side, 4,194,304 pixels per frame and 400 frames.

Detailed budgets: 40,000,000 decoded pixels, an estimated 192 MiB working allocation and 64 MiB per ZIP. These estimates help reject large jobs; they do not guarantee a browser process memory peak.

Give the animation a caption

Add the same caption to every frame. Enter short text, choose its size and color, then open More settings to position it or add a contrasting outline or text background. Check several frames to make sure the caption stays readable over moving content.

Choosing your settings

Text applies to the full animation. Long lines can extend beyond the canvas; insert line breaks, reduce font size or move the text. System fonts can look different across devices. GIF palette limits may soften text edges.

If the result needs another pass

If the caption is clipped or hard to read, check its position and add a contrasting text background. Review more than one frame before downloading.

GIF timing note: missing, 0 ms and 10 ms frame delays are read as 100 ms. Other supported delays are retained unless the task changes timing or the frame sequence. Re-encoded animation may therefore differ from a viewer that handles unusually short delays differently.

Good to know

Where are fonts loaded from?

The system sans-serif, serif or monospace font is used locally. No font or text is sent to a remote service. Rendering may differ between devices.

Does the text appear on every frame?

Yes. This release applies the same text to the whole animation.
