Limits & supported formats
Input: 1 file · GIF · up to 20 MiB.
Images: up to 2,048 px per side and 400 animation frames.
Output: up to 2,048 px per side, 4,194,304 pixels per frame and 400 frames.
Detailed budgets: 40,000,000 decoded pixels, an estimated 192 MiB working allocation and 64 MiB per ZIP. These estimates help reject large jobs; they do not guarantee a browser process memory peak.

Resize GIF for Discord, Slack & Twitch
Choose a platform and preview the square crop. Discord emoji use a recommended 128×128 canvas; stickers need exactly 320×320. Slack supports up to 50 GIF frames and Twitch up to 60. Crop to focus on a subject, or add transparent padding to keep the complete image.
Choosing your settings
Compression tries smaller palettes and, only when enabled, fewer frames. Sampling groups keep the animation’s total duration. Platform dimensions stay fixed during compression. Twitch manual mode exports 28, 56 and 112 px GIFs together.
If the result needs another pass
An output can remain above its target. Check the actual bytes, dimensions and frames before uploading. Discord animated avatars require Nitro; the 256 px avatar canvas and default target are GIFBloom suggestions, not a verified global avatar limit. Twitch flashing/content rules are not automatically checked.
GIF timing note: missing, 0 ms and 10 ms frame delays are read as 100 ms. Other supported delays are retained unless the task changes timing or the frame sequence. Re-encoded animation may therefore differ from a viewer that handles unusually short delays differently.
Good to know
Does this create an emoji from a video?
No. It adapts an existing GIF. Convert a video to GIF first.
Will it always meet the file size target?
No. It makes a bounded search and clearly labels an unmet target. Reduce detail, trim the animation or enable frame reduction.
Does frame reduction make it faster?
No. Removed frames contribute their time to retained frames, keeping total duration. Movement can look less smooth.
Are the platform sizes mandatory?
Discord emoji and Slack 128 px sizes are recommendations. Discord stickers require exactly 320 px. The avatar preset is a GIFBloom suggestion. Current platform rules take precedence.
Are GIF stickers supported by Discord?
The newer official guide lists GIF and APNG. An older FAQ lists only APNG. If your upload rejects GIF, use GIF to APNG and check its actual size.
Are my files uploaded?
No. All cropping, resizing and compression run in your browser.
