03Check the exported image before sharing
Redact Image
Draw or enter up to 20 rectangles, then choose solid cover, pixelation or blur. Use opaque cover for private text: blur and pixelation may leave clues. Face detection only suggests fixed rectangles; small, turned or hidden faces can be missed. Check every area before processing. Exported pixels change locally and the tool does not upload your image.
Choosing your settings
Choose an area by its coordinates and size. Solid cover fully replaces the selected pixels; blur and pixelation hide less detail and are not suitable for secrets. Export PNG to keep transparency.
If the result needs another pass
The rendered export does not copy source EXIF. Check image metadata separately if you need to retain or edit fields.
Good to know
Can the hidden text be recovered?
Use an opaque solid cover for sensitive text. Blur and pixelation can leave readable clues.
Does this remove metadata?
The rendered export does not copy source EXIF. Check image metadata separately if you need to retain or edit fields.
