Three PNG sizes under 25KB each

Twitch asks for every subscriber badge in three sizes: 18×18, 36×36 and 72×72 px, in PNG format, and no file can exceed 25KB. Custom badge flair for Tier 2 and Tier 3 uses the same three sizes and must have a transparent background. Add one picture and this tool produces all three PNGs from it, keeping transparency, so you upload identical artwork at each size.

Choosing your settings

Badges sit next to usernames in chat, so 18 px is the size that matters most. Use a bold silhouette with few details and strong contrast. Keep image with transparent padding preserves the full artwork; Crop a square fills the badge. For pixel-art badges choose nearest-neighbor sampling so the 18 px version is not blurred.

If the result needs another pass

Badges are static. If you add an animated GIF the tool stops with a message rather than silently keeping one frame; export the frame you want with Extract GIF Frames first. If a PNG is above 25KB, simplify noisy textures or gradients in the source picture.

GIF timing note: missing, 0 ms and 10 ms frame delays are read as 100 ms. Other supported delays are retained unless the task changes timing or the frame sequence. Re-encoded animation may therefore differ from a viewer that handles unusually short delays differently.

Good to know

What size are Twitch sub badges?

Each PNG cannot exceed 25KB. The result shows the actual bytes of every size.

No. Subscriber badges are uploaded as PNG. This preset only accepts static images or single-frame GIFs.

Does it keep a transparent background?

Yes. Transparent pixels stay transparent, and the padding option adds transparent space instead of a color.

Is the image uploaded?

No. Everything runs in your browser.
